scaledecom ("we", "us") makes ad creative for ecommerce brands. We work online with customers in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and other English-speaking countries. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it and the choices you have. To contact us about privacy, email [email protected].
What we collect
- Form details: your name, email address and, on some forms, your mobile number, plus your store's website, revenue and Meta ad spend ranges, who runs your ads, your biggest ad problem, a link to your best ad and the pack you're interested in.
- Booking details: if you book a call, Calendly collects your name, email address, chosen time and any notes you add.
- Messages: anything you send us by email.
- Technical details: when you load the site, our hosting and delivery providers may process your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.
- A sound preference: your browser stores whether the click sound is on or off. This stays on your device.
This website does not set its own cookies and does not currently use advertising pixels. If that changes, we'll update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.
How we use it
- To reply to you and prepare what you asked for, such as a roadmap, free sample ads or an ad review.
- To arrange and hold calls, and to send related reminders.
- To provide our services, take payment and deliver your ads if you become a customer.
- To follow up about our services. You can opt out at any time.
- To run and protect this website, and to meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
UK visitors: we rely on taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to and following up business enquiries, your consent where it's needed, and our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with providers that help us run our business, and only as far as they need it:
- Google: form storage (Sheets and Apps Script), email (Gmail), calendars, video calls (Meet) and website fonts.
- Calendly: call booking.
- IONOS: our business email.
- Website hosting and delivery providers: running the site.
We may also share information with professional advisers, or where the law requires it. These providers may store information in the United States and other countries, so it may be handled outside the country where you live. Where the law requires it, we rely on suitable safeguards for those transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. If you become a customer, we keep your details for as long as we work together and afterwards as needed for legal, tax and accounting reasons.
Security
We limit access to personal information and use password-protected accounts. No online service is completely secure, so please don't send us sensitive information through our forms.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it or delete it. You may also be able to object to or limit how we use it, or withdraw your consent. You can always opt out of our marketing. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within the time the law allows. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to fix the problem. You can also complain to your local regulator: the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in Australia, or your state attorney general or privacy regulator in the US.
Children
Our services are for businesses. They are not meant for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's information.
Changes to this policy
